Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information StartupCore handles and the choices available to you.

Effective September 6, 2026

1. Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to StartupCore.com, StartupCore's research-request forms, and the one-time research services we provide (the “Services”). StartupCore, the operator of StartupCore.com (“StartupCore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is responsible for the personal information described here. It does not cover third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact information, such as your name and email address.
  • Research-request information, such as your market, geography, startup idea, intended customers, business model, experience, constraints, evidence, links, and other context you choose to provide.
  • Research information, including information from public or otherwise permitted sources about companies, markets, products, and people relevant to a requested report.
  • Transaction and service information, such as the service purchased, payment status, purchase date, communications, support requests, report, and delivery history. Stripe processes payment-card details; StartupCore does not receive or store your full card number.
  • Communications, including emails, feedback, and any information you send when exercising a privacy right.

Information collected automatically

Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, network analytics, and security services for the website. In doing so, Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, including IP addresses, traffic-routing data, system-configuration information, request time, requested page, browser or device information, and diagnostic or security logs.

Cloudflare Web Analytics may measure page views, referring sites, country, hostname and page path, device type, browser, operating system, navigation type, page-load timing, and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data, does not use cookies or local storage to collect usage metrics, and does not track individual visitors across its customers' websites. You can read Cloudflare's Web Analytics overview and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

3. How we use information

  • to review your request, communicate with you, process your order, prepare and deliver the report, and provide support;
  • to research, organize, draft, fact-check, and improve the quality of your requested service;
  • to operate, measure, troubleshoot, protect, and prevent abuse of the website and Services;
  • to keep transaction, consent, tax, accounting, and other business records;
  • to enforce our Terms, resolve disputes, protect rights and safety, and comply with law; and
  • for another purpose disclosed when you provide the information or with your permission.

We may use research, productivity, and AI-assisted tools to help process information for a requested report. We use those tools as service providers or business tools, not to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. A person reviews the report before delivery.

4. Legal bases where applicable

If European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, we process personal information as needed to perform a contract or take steps you request before a contract; for legitimate interests such as providing, securing, and improving the Services and maintaining business records; to comply with legal obligations; and, where required, with your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

5. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use research-request content to advertise to you. We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Service providers: vendors that provide payments (Stripe), transactional email (Resend), hosting, content delivery, security, and web analytics (Cloudflare), and research, productivity, or AI-assisted tools used to fulfill requests. Their processing is governed by their agreements and privacy terms.
  • Professional advisers: lawyers, accountants, insurers, and other advisers subject to appropriate duties.
  • Legal and safety recipients: authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or establish or defend legal claims.
  • Business-transfer recipients: a prospective or actual buyer, investor, successor, or other party to a financing, merger, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections where practical.
  • Others at your direction: when you ask us to share information or give permission.

For payment details, see Stripe's Privacy Policy. For intake email delivery, see Resend's Privacy Policy.

6. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. The period depends on the information and may include the time needed to fulfill and support a report, maintain transaction and consent records, meet tax or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the Services. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Service providers may retain information under their own documented retention schedules or as legally required.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the size of the Services. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information or secrets that require a separate nondisclosure agreement.

8. International processing

StartupCore and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms or other lawful safeguards for international transfers.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to appeal a denied request. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.

To make a request, email info@startupcore.com. Please describe your request and the email address connected with it. We may need to verify your identity and may retain a record of the request. An authorized agent may submit a request where local law permits. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. Cookies, analytics, and browser signals

StartupCore does not currently use advertising cookies or engage in cross-site behavioral tracking. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to collect usage metrics. Depending on which Cloudflare security features are enabled, Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies to identify and manage malicious or automated traffic. Essential infrastructure may also process technical mechanisms necessary to deliver, secure, or remember settings for the site.

Because StartupCore does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or track visitors across unaffiliated sites for advertising, browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change our current practices. If our practices change or applicable law requires a different response, we will update this policy and honor legally recognized signals as required. Third parties linked from the Services may collect information under their own policies.

11. Children

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. We will not use previously collected personal information in a materially different way without appropriate notice or permission when required by law.

13. Contact

For questions or privacy requests, contact StartupCore at info@startupcore.com.
